On behalf of the organising committee, it is an honour and a privilege for us to invite you to the 2025 Congress of the South African Society of Psychiatrists (SASOP 2025) which will be taking place from 17 – 21 September 2025 at the East London International Convention Centre. The theme for this year’s congress is “Re-imagining Mental Health Care Access”.
We are excited to host the congress in the Eastern Cape, a vast province with a rich heritage, warm hospitality and spectacular landscapes. A stone-throw away from the beach, the congress venue is well placed to convey the sense of enjoyment with which we would like you to anticipate the event.
We take pleasure in curating SASOP 2025 to become an exciting hub of meaningful connection, fruitful networking, sharing of ideas and keeping up to date with the latest developments in psychiatry.
